The High Court in Tema has granted an order for the interim preservation of alleged joint matrimonial properties in the divorce-related matter involving Gloria Kobi and Prophet Emmanuel Badu Kobi.

The order, issued on 18 May 2026, follows a motion filed by Gloria Kobi, who is listed as the petitioner/applicant in the suit numbered GA/TM/HCG/E5/027/2026.

According to the court document, the application was supported by an affidavit filed on 7 May 2026. The court noted that there was no affidavit in opposition on record before granting the motion.

The order preserves a number of properties said to form part of the parties’ joint matrimonial assets pending the final determination of the suit.

The listed properties include the land and premises housing Glorious Wave Church International and the matrimonial home at Sakumono, four houses, two self-contained houses, a five-bedroom house at East Legon, interest in a partnership oil company, several vehicles, and other assets allegedly acquired during the marriage.

The court granted the application pursuant to Order 25 Rule 2(1) of the High Court Civil Procedure Rules, 2004, C.I. 47.

The effect of the order is that the named properties are to be preserved and not interfered with while the substantive case remains pending before the court.
