In-house counsel key to efficient, confidential dispute resolution-CIMA

The Center for International Mediators and Arbitrators (CIMA) in October hosted a focused discussion with 12 In-House Legal Directors, focusing on in-house counsel's role in ADR. 

Key topics included the advantages of institutional arbitration, the med-arb model, and the importance of crafting effective ADR clauses. 

The event also highlighted mediation’s high success rates and underscored the value of confidentiality in employment conflicts. 

Also, In-house counsel were encouraged to use their domain expertise to make ADR more efficient, confidential, and cost-effective.
