Funny Face granted GH¢120,000 bail for careless driving
Funny Face, who has been on remand for two weeks, has been charged with drunk driving and careless driving.
Ghanaian comedian and actor, Benson Nana Yaw Oduro Boateng, popularly called Funny Face, has been granted bail of GHC 120,000 with two sureties by the Ofaakor Circuit Court, Kasoa, in the Awutu Senya East District of the Central Region.
Funny Face, who has been on remand for two weeks, has been charged with drunk driving and careless driving.
On the night of Sunday, March 24, Funny Face knocked down five people at the Kasoa Kakraba junction, hitting a mother with two children and two motorbikes, according to reports.
The accident left one victim in a coma, while the others are receiving medical treatment at the Winneba Trauma Centre.
The case has meanwhile been adjourned to May 10, 2024.
