GBA donates educational materials to Mepe students

The Ghana Bar Association (GBA) has extended a helping hand to schoolchildren in Mepe, located in the North Tongu District of the Volta Region. 

Recognizing the hardships faced by the community, especially the students, the GBA has donated educational resources to aid in their academic pursuits.

The generous donation comprised ten thousand exercise books, along with cartons of crayons, pens, pencils, and various other learning materials.

 Mr. Yaw Acheampong Boafo, the National President of the Ghana Bar Association, led a delegation of four to deliver these supplies, emphasizing their commitment to supporting education in the region.

Addressing the gathering, Mr. Boafo underscored the importance of nurturing the potential of the students, stating that they hold the key to the nation's future. 

He highlighted the necessity of providing them with the necessary tools and resources to excel academically.

Furthermore, Mr. Boafo reiterated the GBA's dedication to safeguarding the welfare of both students and teachers in flood-affected areas, recognizing their vital roles in shaping the country's future.

 He again pledged ongoing support from the GBA to ensure access to quality education for all.

Receiving the donation on behalf of the district, Mrs. Isabella Ayimey, the North Tongu District Education Director, expressed appreciation for the GBA's assistance. 

She assured that the resources would be utilized effectively to benefit the students.
