The Deputy Managing Partner at Okudzeto and Associates, Esine Okudzeto, has advised clients to desist from using different persons to execute judgment.

According to her, this trend is usually problematic because the lawyers who handle cases, know more about the other party and their properties and are thus better placed to do the execution.

Speaking on the Law Program on Joy, Madam Esine intimated the importance of continuity in legal representation, especially during the critical phase of judgment execution.

Even though she acknowledged the existence of professionals who assist in such executions, she insisted on the need for clients not to stray from using legal experts during such periods.

She said that lawyers, in their legal research, are able to unravel assets of the other party and map out better strategies to attack them in terms of execution, so going in for new lawyers to start from scratch is problematic.

As such, Madam Esine advised clients to spare themselves a great disservice by resorting only to lawyers to handle court cases from filing to execution.
