OSP to open regional offices in Kumasi, Tamale, Takoradi - Kissi Agyebeng

The Special Prosecutor, Kissi Agyebeng has said his office would soon open offices across Regions in the country. 

At a press briefing in Accra today, November 29, Mr. Agyebeng said they would start out with three Regions - Kumasi, Tamale, and Takoradi. 

“We are ready to branch out into the Regions - starting from Kumasi, Tamale, and Takoradi. And we will be seeking approval for clearance to hire more personnel,” Mr. Agyebeng said, adding that the office in Accra now has its fully established staff after about four years of that challenge. 

“From a situation of a single person on the payroll of the office when I assumed this position, I am proud to announce that the office now has its full establishment staff of 249. This recruitment drive is four years behind schedule. However, we are excited that we have the full complement of our foundation staff seated now.”
